The Morales family established one of the earliest Mexican-American funeral homes during the Jim Crow era, and the first Spanish-speaking radio station in Houston. This Catholic Bible belonged to Angelina Morales, the matriarch of the family. It documents the family tree and sacraments received. This Bible served as a holder of ephemera, featuring over 100 saved items and annotations, including obituaries, newspaper clippings, letters, thank-you cards, prayer cards, and event napkins.
