The historical work of the project \u201cBarrio Rhetorics\u201d lead by Dr. Cristina D. Ram\u00edrez uncovers the Chicana literary writer, <strong>Ramona Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> (1906-1995), who is also the researcher\u2019s maternal grandmother.
