1. To develop within the members of our race the best, purest and most perfect type of a true and loyal citizen of the United States of American.
2. To eradicate from our body politic all intents and tendencies to establish discriminations among our fellow-citizens [citizens] on account of race, religion or social position as being contrary to the true spirit of Democracy, our Constitution and Laws.
3. To use all the legal means at our command to the end that [our] all citizens in our country may enjoy equal rights, the equal protection [word ?] laws of the land and equal opportunities and privileges.

The Morales Family Bible is a subcollection of the Morales Family Collection. The Morales family established one of the earliest Mexican-American funeral homes during the Jim Crow era, and the first Spanish-speaking radio station in Houston. This Catholic Bible belonged to Angelina Morales, the matriarch of the family. It documents the family tree and sacraments received. This Bible served as a holder of ephemera, featuring over 100 saved items and annotations, including obituaries, newspaper clippings, letters, thank-you cards, prayer cards, and event napkins.

<p>Fighting Fascist Spain -- The Exhibits (FFSTE) is a digital project that recovers and preserves U.S. Hispanic antifascist print culture (periodicals, communities, theatre, and graphic art) with the goal of documenting victims, fighters, and survivors of Spanish fascism and their allies. FFSTE expresses historical justice by amplifying antifascists' voices and perspectives.</p>

An account of the resource
A boy is at school. A crucifix and the Falange emblem are on the wall, and "¡Franco!" is written thrice. Two Civil Guards are watching him while gripping their weapons. Through the window, Europeans are saddened to see this. The caption says, "The United States of Europe will never be a reality. Through the centuries, the old nations of Europe have formed their own personalities" (From General Franco's speech on December 31, 1956).
Un niño está en la escuela. Hay un crucifijo en la pared, la insignia de la Falange y "¡Franco!" está escrito tres veces. Dos guardias civiles le vigilan mientras empuñan sus armas. A través de la ventana, los europeos se entristecen al ver esto. El pie de foto dice: "Los Estados Unidos de Europa nunca serán una realidad. A lo largo de los siglos, las viejas naciones de Europa han formado sus propias personalidades" (Del discurso del general Franco del 31 de diciembre de 1956).
