Donated by his family to the Recovering the US Hispanic Literary Heritage Program, the collection includes family photographs, correspondence (letters and postcards), poetry and handwritten manuscripts and newspaper clippings from Hispanic periodicals, such as La Prensa, The Laredo Times, El Tiempo Diario de Laredo, El Jicote, El ciudadano del sur de Texas and Las noticias.
