First page of Nov. 1980 Board of Directors report for E Hogar de Niño, a community-based nonprofit organization that served the neighborhoods of Pilsen and Little Village in Chicago by providing bilingual and affordable daycare. Women involved in El Hogar included Adelia Hurley (a founder) and Elda Chavez (Board Secretary, 1980).
