Carta a un amigo, publicado en el periódico que romantiza la epidemia. Silverio compara la enfermedad con una visita de un adulto mayor, una que nadie puede rechazar y aparece en todos lados, a cualquiera. El autor también idealiza los extremos a los que la gente ha llegado para salvar a sus seres queridos.
Letter to a friend, published in a newspaper, which romanticizes the epidemic. The author compares the illness to an elderly visitor, one who cannot be refused and appears everywhere, to everyone. Silverio also romanticizes the extremes to which people have gone to try to save their loved ones.
