Description

Letter from Alonso S. Perales to John G. Sargent, Attorney General of the United States, asking him to investigate an incident in which four Mexican Americans and an Austrian were killed after being suspected of the murder of two sheriffs. Perales notes that although the police allege they were attacked by unknown parties, the community suspects that the police officers were involved or perpetrated the crime.
